HOW DID YOU FIND ALCHEMY?:

Back in May 2007, a fellow roleplay buddy decided to point me in the direction of Alchemy. At the time I hadn't really explored the roleplay community outside Harry Potter or Charmed. Yet, I was convinced to try something new because Alchemy seemed like an interesting storyline that could grab my curiosity. The first person I ever met was Mina, the co-owner of the group. We hit it off right off the bat and I loved her. She was helpful and even willing to plot with my character and I. That was the start of a beautiful friendship inside and out. After that, I met many others, including Jared. From the beginning I had been a regular member, just like most of you who will hopefully join our lovely little group. I would offer my help and eventually my work had been taken notice of. I was made Log Manger, my first job as a moderator. From there I would go on to step in a general moderator and so on. When Alchemy disbanded, I kept in touch with many of the members and when we decided to bring the group back in December 2009, we were all excited. Alchemy had held many great memories for us and all of us wanted to bring back the fire we had all experienced the first time around. During this time I stepped in as one of four admins and picked up many of the jobs I had never done before. Since then Alchemy has been going strong and I absolutely love it!

WHAT DO YOU IN DO ALCHEMY?: When it comes to the board I'm the one that updates the lovely main page, my pride and joy. I also take care of the board skins and the majority of the new graphics and blends you see on the board (that weren't originally provided to us by the old owner). I also maintain the Alchemy Facebook Group and I advertise the board on other forums. One job I'm known for is recruiting as most of you know since I recruited quite a few of you. Since I've taken a larger role on the forum I can't recruit as much as I used to which is quite sad. Other than that I approve applications along with the other admins and run many threads on the board.
